Business Tourism Event –
An astronaut’s view of Ireland’s position

When: 4th November, 2020

Time: 09:30 to 12:30

Dear friends and colleagues,

AIPCO are delighted to invite you to this quarter’s Business Tourism educational event for our Industry colleagues in Ireland and abroad. This will of course be a virtual one.

Over the last 6 months we have all worked incredibly hard rescuing our businesses, lobbying Government and safeguarding our future. Let’s now take some time on November 4th to take an Astronaut’s view of the current state of play in Business Tourism in Ireland.

We invite you to join us for a very interactive session where you will hear from thought leaders both in Ireland and abroad. We will review our current position in Ireland (post budget) and what needs to happen for us to open our doors to International visitors. This will be followed by a session from our international colleagues where we will get a sense of how things are internationally and what other countries are doing to survive and recover.

As we are moving into the winter months, our final speaker will give us the top tips in keeping a positive mind-set in these challenging times.

Now, all work and no play made Jack a dull boy, so at the end of the session we will have the opportunity to socialise a bit, albeit it virtually! We have arranged a facility for us to chat and catch up.

We look forward to seeing you all on line on the morning of November 4th for a thought provoking and engaging experience. We are also very grateful to Fáilte Ireland for their generous support for this event.

Warm wishes to you all.
