The Association of Irish Professional Conference Organisers (AIPCO) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1999 and is the premier professional association for conference organisers in Ireland.

Our association is committed to raising standards of service among its members and other sectors of the meetings industry by means of continuing education and interaction with other professionals.

AIPCO works closely with Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Ireland and the Regional Convention Bureaux in developing Ireland into an International Conference hub.

AIPCO Quality Mark
AIPCO has established a quality mark. It is awarded to those companies which are AIPCO approved.



About Your Conference


The 5th AIPCO Business Tourism Conference will take place on March 23rd and 24th 2017 in Killashee Hotel, Naas, Co. Kildare. The event is proudly hosted and brought to you by the Association of Irish Professional Conference Organisers.



AIPCO Business Tourism Conference


The annual AIPCO Conference is the must-attend event for anyone involved in Business Tourism in Ireland.

Previous editions focused on the importance of supply chain collaboration, identifying competitive advantage for Ireland and how to "nail your sale".

This year we're piecing it all together and considering the bigger picture.

We'll have an update from Fáilte Ireland on the Meet in Ireland brand and how alignment and collaboration makes us strong as a destination; we'll hear from successful international DMOs on how 2nd tier locations can prosper and why biggest isn't always best; crucially, we'll listen to the clients perspective and understand their evolving needs in a skittish market that blows hot and cold. We'll also hear from the IRFU about Ireland 2023, a ground-breaking bid to host a major sports tournament in our country. There will also be parallel sessions providing a deep dive into the world of Association Conferences and facilitating in-depth, up-close-and-personal discussions on Destination Marketing and Selling to corporate, association and agency clients.


When?
This year's conference commences with a Destination Showcase, Business Exchange and Networking Dinner on Thursday, 23rd March followed by a full day of quality education and workshops. We are also delighted to welcome back Pádraic Gilligan, Managing Partner at SoolNua, as MC.
